This is a pretty good video on the basics of how platics are recycled. Show your kids so that they can learn all about it.  Also at the end check out the other informative recycling videos.  I especially like the one about recycling paper.

The other night when I was in bed a mysterious visitor came by, left a poem and a huge plastic lid from a grocery story food plater. Here is what was written:

Silent as a butterfly
Quiet as a mouse
PEEK-A-BOO, SUCKA!
Homie’s in da house!
WORD!
Here’s a lid 4 u from, the LIDMASTA
Admittingly that was the largest lid left thus far but it is also the flimsy
